James was born in Madison, MS on May 3, 1932 to Bertha and C.J. Wade. James was married to his wife, Eunice for 62 years. He was a furniture restoration expert until he retired in 1997. In his younger days, he enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He loved manicuring his lawn. James was also a proud member of Skyway Hills Missionary Baptist Church.
James is survived by his son, Vernon Wade (Dianne); daughter, Pam Lott (Dewayne); grandchildren, Daniel Wade (Sarah), Brandi Gant (Chase), Chris Lott, Ryan Lott (Tonya); great grandchildren, Austin Gant, Wade Gant, and Andrew Wade.
Funeral services will be held at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Visitation for James V. Wade, Sr. will be held at Baldwin-Lee on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, and again on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
