Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Jean was born March 12, 1935, in Terry, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Oliver C. Braxton and Mary Chappell Braxton. She was a graduate of Florence High School and attended Draughn’s Business College. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Jean loved the outdoors and spent her free time tending to her English Garden and growing vegetables. She had two cats that became her constant companions and she loved them dearly.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Albert Jordan, Jr., and daughter, Myra Jordan Massey.
Survivors include daughter, Donna Stiglets and husband Mike; grandchildren, Wesley Jordan Stiglets, Ashley Stiglets Lambert, and Christi Smith; and 8 great-grandchildren.
