A visitation for Joe Ann will be held from 5:00pm until 6:00pm on Monday, December 26, 2021 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral home in Pearl, followed by funeral service at 6:00pm that same day.
Joe Ann was born in Hinds County, Mississippi on February 26, 1942 to the late Henry J. Cutrer and Nettie Mae Travis Cutrer. She worked for several years alongside her husband at Jitney Jungle and then a homemaker after that. Joe Ann was a faithful member of Fannin Baptist Church in Brandon. She loved spending her free time loving on her pets, with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Peets, daughter Betty Ann Hough, and son David Lee Traxler.
Joe Ann is survived by her sons, James Traxler, and Billy White, daughters, Deborah Peets, Kimberly Mathew, and Donna Lynn Peets, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many dear extended family members and friends.
