

Keith Stevens passed peacefully from this life to his eternal home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was born on October 29, 1954, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, to the late Norman Stevens and Mary Elizabeth McLemore Hutchins. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard Sisson and David Sisson.
Keith was a 1972 graduate of Pearl McLaurin High School, where he proudly played on the Pirate football team. He began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1975 with Geophysical Field Survey and later retired as a project manager with Dawson Oil—respected and admired as one of the best in his field.
Keith was married to the love of his life, Debbie Wilson Stevens, for 50 years. He is survived by Debbie and their three children: Jill Stevens McCool (Mark), Brent Stevens (Kim), and Blake Stevens.
Known lovingly as Granddaddy, Keith’s greatest joy in life was his grandchildren: Anna Grace McCool, Brayden McCool, Brody McCool, Sawyer Stevens, Dawson Stevens, Colton Stevens, and Stone Stevens. He cherished every moment with them and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and pride.
He is also survived by his sister, Delores Stevens, and brother, Rayborn Sisson, Father in law Eugene “Buddy” Wilson, brother in law Steve Wilson (Floyd), sister in law Teresa Wilson, along with numerous nieces and nephews. His two beloved dogs, Hank and Otis, were his constant companions.
Keith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was one of quiet strength, devotion, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Wilson Bounds, Tyler Wilson, Blake McBride, Shelby Bounds, Brayden McCool, and Brody McCool. Honorary pallbearers are Sawyer Stevens, Colton Stevens, Dawson Stevens, and Stone Stevens.
Family and guests are requested to dress casual for Keith's services and encouraged to wear colors of blue/gold or black/gold.
