Kent Harvey Boysen

He was born on July 21, 1967 in Rochester, Minnesota to Harvey Benard Boysen and Diane Marie Golberg Boysen. He moved to Jackson, MS from Rochester, MN to work as a Medical Administrator at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Kent enjoyed coaching Rochester Youth hockey for 14 years, referring hockey games, watching NASCAR, fishing with his Dad, and being outdoors at his cabin. He loved volunteering his time at Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester on committees and especially the Christmas Nativity Program every year. Prior to moving to Jackson, Kent loved helping people as a nursing home administrator, and life insurance salesman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Bernard Boysen and his niece Jessica Marie Ryan.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Marie Golberg Boysen of Byron, MN; sons, Andrew Kent Boysen of Madison, WI and Erik Mansour Boysen, of Everett, WA, and their mother, Julia Mansour Boysen Yennie; sister, Penni Ryan of Coralville, IA; and two nephews, Justin Ryan and Brandon Ryan, both of Wellman, IA; and many other dear family and friends.

Kent will be deeply missed by all those he interacted with sharing his infectious smile and laugh.
