Liz Raymond

Visitation is 12:00-2:00pm Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Liz was born December 13, 1931 in Woodville, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Joseph Wilmer Leake and Mamie Elizabeth Rogers Leake. A member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl, she retired from the MS Dept. of Wildlife Conservation after 35 years where she served as an administrator. She also served as a computer lab assistant at the Rankin campus of Hinds Community College and was the only female ever elected President of the National Boating Law Association.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robbie Sullivan.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Arthur “T” Raymond; daughters, Terry Hare (Bill) and Christine Rhodes; brother, Leonard Leake (Renate); 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
