He was born October 18, 1956, in Natchez, the son of the late Henry Louis Roberts and Betty Inez Parker Roberts. As a teen he was a member of Eagle Scout Troop 168, commanded by Hayward Benton Drane, Jr.
Louis enjoyed a lengthy career in construction and was dedicated to quality in his work. He was proud that he was part of the construction team that built Grand Gulf. Later he served as a forklift operator for Nissan.
Louis treasured time spent with his family, especially watching classic tv and old movies with his daughter. His also enjoyed reading, repairing watches, and tending to his family’s 6 cats.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Shirley Roberts; daughter, Alanna Roberts; grandson, Johan Louis Mize; sisters, Mary Ann Davis, and Beverly Roberts; nieces and nephews.
