Mrs. Mae Freeman Sistrunk, 83, passed away August 13, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Flowood Baptist Church with interment in Natchez Trace Cemetery in Madison, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 AM – 12 Noon at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.

Mrs. Sistrunk was a faithful member of Flowood Baptist Church where she served in the church’s Senior Adult Ministry, “Young at Heart”. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Myron Lewis Sistrunk; parents, Oliver Auston Freeman and Alma Lois Bright Freeman and sister, Bobbie Freeman Bearden.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer Lyn Sistrunk Bailey and husband Mark Bailey of Madison; grandchildren, Auston Douglas Bailey and Olivia Grace Bailey of Madison; sisters, Austine Cliburn and husband Fred of Brandon, DeLois Killen, Kate Thomas and Janis Watts, all of Union, MS; sister-in-law, Henrietta Sistrunk and many nieces and nephews.
