Martha S. Jackson

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Monday, May 27, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

She was born Tuesday, February 18, 1936 in Paris, Texas, a daughter of the late Allie Wesley Copeland and Claudia Haley Copeland.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Her hobbies included crocheting, gardening and spending time with her beloved cats. She also enjoyed crafts and created many beautiful ceramic pieces.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles King and James Jackson; sisters, Betty Scott and Mary Brock; and brother, Larry Copeland.

Survivors include son, Cecil King (Kim); daughters, Carrie Ingram (Doug), Janis Goodwin (Earl) and Charlene Lowe (Steve); step-son, Jimmy Jackson; step-daughters, Deena Mullins (Steve) and Tammy Shepard (David); brother, Jimmy Copeland; 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
