Paul was born May 24, 1945, in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Albert Eugene Watford and Rosa Anna Rauch Watford. He was a truck driver and then worked for several years as an instrument fitter and foreman in the industrial construction field.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his siblings, Ashton Watford, Sherba Morris, Patricia Nettles, and Barbara Martin.
Survived by wife, Myrtlene Watford; daughter, Angela Stonitsch; sons, Paul Watford, Jr, and Daniel Pennington and wife Linda; brothers, Gene Watford, and Larry Watford; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
