Ricky was born on March 11, 1957, to Mr. Ted White and Mrs. Patricia Lott in Forest, MS.
Mr. White loved watching tv western shows like Gunsmoke, listening to Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and of course some of that good 70s and 80s rock. He had his problems, but he also had a firm faith in God. He enjoyed reading his Bible and he had several scriptures circled in it. Two of those scriptures were Psalms 94:22 “But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.” And Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”. He lived a very adventurous life and was known for his signature long hair and red bandana. In his younger years, he was a great carpenter who could build anything.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tony White; and granddaughter, Erika Phillips.
Mr. White is survived by his son, Ricky White (Stephanie); daughter, Patricia Phillips (Erik); brothers, Terry White, Travis Pennypacker (Shelley), Eddie Pennypacker (Donna); sisters, Teddy Mae Quick, Melissa McCue (Jerry), Carol Thibodeaux, and Donna Powell (Dusty); sister in law, Sandy White; nephew Dylan White; grandchildren, Zach White (Lizzie), Jeremy White (Kimberli), Gaven Doss (Mary Wallace), Lakan Doss, Jossalynn White, Derrick White, Nevaeh Phillips, Eliana Phillips, and Giana Phillips; great grandchildren, Jake White, and Ally Mae White.
