Sandra Johnson-Black

Sandra was born September 17, 1964, in Tupelo, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Grover and Mary Johnson.

In 1986 Sandra married her one true love, Jason Munn Black. Sandra and Jason were blessed with five children and six grandchildren, and they shared 36 beautiful years together.

Sandra’s family was at the center of heart and everything she did, and she lovingly dedicated her life to being the best wife, mother, and grandmother that she could be. She found joy in providing even the simplest things for those she loved. An excellent cook, she delighted in creating special dishes for each family member, and hers was a table surrounded by love.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Jason Black; children, Ashley Allen, Andrew Black, Chelsea Miles, Caleb Black, and Chance Black; grandchildren, Baylee Allen, Colbie Allen, Dylan Allen, Tanner Perry, Benson Quick, and Deuce Black; and brothers, Randy Johnson, and Ricky Johnson.

In accordance with her wishes Sandra’s family will hold private memorial services.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1008, Tupelo, MS 38802.
