A long-time resident of Pearl, she retired from the Mississippi State Dept. of Health after relocating to Carthage with her parents, Jessie Lavon Freeny, and Frances Marguerita Freeny.
Sherry is survived by her daughter, Missy Davis Miller and husband Chris of Arkadelphia, AR; beloved grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob, Caleb, Sarah, and Joshua Miller; and niece, Amanda Clanton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Freeny.
According to her wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation, and her ashes will be interred next to her parents' graves at Standing Pine Cemetery in Leake County, Mississippi.
