Susan Marie Anderson-Lee

Susan Marie Anderson Lee, 64, of Pearl, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Born in Cheverly, Maryland, on February 4, 1961, Susan grew up in Lanham Seabrook, Maryland. She graduated from DuVal High School in 1979. She had a career in video sales and distribution before her years as a merchandiser and vendor for various companies. After meeting Rickey Lee, she relocated to Pearl, Mississippi in 2020. They were married on Valentine's Day 2023.

Susan enjoyed many hobbies, such as macramé, puzzles, and going to the beach. Dance was a big part of Susan's life. She started at a very young age and eventually became a dance teacher. Acrobatics and Hawaiian dancing were her favorites. In her later years, her favorite pastimes were being outside in the sunshine getting her hands dirty planting flowers and feeding the birds. She could tell you the names of every flower and plant, and how to take care of them. This was her way of being close to God.

Susan is preceded in death by her father, William Carl Anderson.

She leaves behind her husband, Rickey Lee; stepdaughter, Lisa Kay Lee, and step-grandson, Damian Lee Parnell.

Susan is survived by her loving mother, Mary Ruth Anderson. She is also survived by her sister, Kathryn Jo Martinson (Stephen) and her brother, William "Andy" Anderson (Ana Paula).

She was a loving aunt to Tiffany, Joshua (Alicia), Samantha (Devon), Courtney, and a great aunt to Bailey Ann.

Susan is deeply loved and will remain in the hearts of all who love her.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, September 27, 2025, 11 a.m. at Annie's Acres, 4001 Accokeek Road, Brandywine, Maryland, 20613.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susan's memory to Mississippi Animal Rescue League, 5221 Greenway Dr Exd, Jackson, MS 39204.
