He is survived by his three children, Tyler Weathersby, Chris Weathersby, and Sarah Weathersby; his siblings: Brenda Hutchins (Chris), Jeff Weathersby (Lynn), and Roger Weathersby along with many grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Pearl Horner, and his father, Joseph William Weathersby.
Thomas worked and retired from Coke Company where he worked and installed fountain drinks throughout the service industry. Thomas was fun-loving and was such an instigator. He would stir people up, then sit back and watch! He could make people mad and have them laughing in a minute. He loved his children, grandchildren, and siblings. He truly loved his mother. She was his best friend. She taught him how to care for others. He had a talent for meeting people and visiting. He could talk to anyone and develop lasting friendships from these encounters. He loved family gatherings, cooking, monster trucks, mud riding, and treasure hunting. The statement rang true; “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” Thomas was a treasure that God felt was time to bring home. He will be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Celebration of Remembrance Services will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
