A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at East Fork Cemetery in Kentwood, Louisiana.
She was born on January 19, 1935 to the late Luther Eugene Strickland and Hilda Mae McElveen in Kentwood Louisiana. Trenia was a member of East Fork Baptist Church and in her later years, a member of Flowood Baptist Church. For several years, she worked as a beautician. Trenia then became an apartment complex property manager until retiring. Her free time was spent with her family who she adored, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jessie Jean Strickland; brother-in-law Darwin Givens; and great-grandchild, Eden Reese Pierce.
Trenia is survived by her daughter, Tamela Lee and husband Robert P. Lee of Hartselle, Alabama; son, Randall Shane Langston of Brandon; sisters, Donnie Mae Givens and Dianne Buckley both of Kentwood, Lousiana; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
