Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Van was born March 5, 1937, in Canton, Mississippi, a son of the late Van S. and Doris Kersh. He worked for many years with Stone Container/Smurfit-Stone and later Midland Container of Mississippi. As a licensed funeral director Van enjoyed a lengthy career serving families with Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl and Mississippi Mortuary.
In addition to his parents Van was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janell Harrell Kersh; and children, Curtis S. Kersh, Judy Kersh Flowers, and Bonnie Kersh Moore.
He is survived by his son, Van R. "Robbie" Kersh, Jr.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many friends and colleagues who loved and respected Van.
