W.C. “Dub” Smith, 85, passed from this life Monday, April 16, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson.
Visitation is 5:00-9:00pm Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with interment in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Raleigh.
Dub was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Pearl and owner of Dub’s Automatic Transmission Service for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Johnnie Nell Sartor Smith of Pearl; daughter, Dora Williams (Randy) of Richland; son, Chad Smith of Pearl; grandson, Cody Smith of Pearl; sisters, Cecil Ross, Bobbie Blackburn and Linda Brewer; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leno and Nonnie Smith; brothers, Charles Smith and Eldon “Buster” Smith; and sister, Dottie Andrisky.
