Kathryn Eileen Rothe

Kathryn was married to the love of her life, Emanuel "Manuel" W. Rothe for ten years before his passing in January of 2020. After Manuel passed, Kathryn built a home just two blocks from her only daughter so that she could see her great grandson, Nikolai, regularly. Nikolai loved to get in his little Power Wheels and drive to see his "Gwamma."

Kathryn's passions were her dogs, her grand children, her great grand children, coconut rum, and traveling. She loved to reminisce about the many wonderful trips she and Manuel took. She continued to travel with her friends and was looking forward to their next big adventure.

Kathryn was survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kerrie and Darin Fountain; her grandchildren, Mjnari and Lexie Richards, Njahni and Morgan Richards, Nkari Richards and Janeca Smith; Kelsilynn Fountain and Ricky Trevino, Aubrey Fountain, and Beckett Fountain; her great grandchildren, Nikolai Richards and Ivy Richards (and Malakai Richards on the way); her mother, Ethel Kimsey; and her siblings, Susie Dews, Trish Valente, Franklin Kimsey, and Judy Youtsey.

Feisty, stubborn, generous, and incredibly loving, she will always be loved and never be forgotten.

A celebration of Kathryn's life will be held 5:00 PM on March 27, 2024 at Forest Park South Funeral Home. Reception and visitation will be held immediately following the service. Messages of condolence may be viewed or shared by visiting www.ForestParkSouthFuneralHome.com.
