Lillian Kirk Maehlmann (Monkey, Lilly, Lillian) was born March 2, 1955 in Houston, Texas in Ellington Air Force Base hospital. She Attended Houston Public schools, Houston Community College, and the University of Houston. She contracted work with Evans Fur Co., Neiman Marcus, Sakowitz Furs, and Saks Fifth Ave. A silent community leader thru her love for sports. Women's softball teams, helping start women's professional football playing for Houston Herricanes, and coaching a men's softball team in Cloverland, a growing community since the 50's. She was married to Joseph Maehlmann and divorced. She was preceded in death by her father: Leon Kirk, Sr.; mother: Aguri Tanaka Kirk; and brother; Richard A. Kirk.
Lillian leaves to cherish her legacy siblings: Leon Kirk, Jr. and Agatha Kirk; niece: Danielle Kirk; nephew: Johnathan Kirk; other loving and blessed family members, neighbors, and friends. All are keys to living good with God.
A visitation for Lillian will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77584. A committal will be held at a later date at Houston Memorial Gardens, 2426 Cullen Boulevard, Pearland, Texas 77581.
