Michael was born in Lake City, Iowa on September 16, 1944. He graduated from Prospect High School in Prospect, Illinois. Michael joined the US Navy where he served from 1963 - 1967 during the Vietnam War. Michael had a career in Automotive and Electronics Integration for Raytheon involving radar systems and Delco Electronics where they built the first Moon Rover. He was a lifetime member of NRA and Ronald Reagan Ranch. His passions in life included The Lord, his family and antique radios.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Linda Ann. He is survived by son, Carl; daughter-in-law, Kristen; daughter, Karen; and grandchildren, Mason, Micah and Maxim. Other surviving family include sister, Cheryl; brother, Mark and sister, Deanna.
Memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael Lawrence Saucke will be scheduled at a later date.
