

Born on July 7, 1969, in Houston, Texas, Shaina was the beloved daughter of Lerittia Marie Broussard.
Shaina’s educational journey began at St. Philip Neri Catholic School, followed by Ross Shaw Sterling High School, and later, she pursued her passion for numbers as an Accounting Major at Houston Community College.
Shaina enjoyed a fulfilling career with Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) in HR Payroll Management, where she made lasting contributions. She was also an active and proud member of the Motorcycle Club GEN 2:18, finding joy in the camaraderie and shared passion of the group.
In her personal life, Shaina had many interests that brought her happiness. She loved fishing, cooking, and was an avid couponer. Above all, Shaina cherished spending time with her Grandbabies, offering them love and guidance, while also providing care and devotion to her beloved mother.
Shaina will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lerittia Marie Broussard and Joseph Wilton Broussard.
Shaina leaves behind to honor her memory her daughters, De'Lexis Leaks and Kennesha Sanders; her sisters, Sonnah Turner (Jack Turner II) and Emily Broussard-Govan (Kemist Govan); her brother, Joseph Lamar Broussard; and her beloved grandbabies, Kaleigh Marie Thompson-Leaks, Nilah Jae' Sanders, and Nova Rae' Sanders. She is also survived by her nieces, Victoria Medrano-Fields (Jerry Fields), Gabrielle Turner-Paulino (Luis Paulino), Elani Turner, Fallon Broussard, Olivia Govan, and Ziva Govan; her nephews, Jack Turner III (Chelsea Turner) and David Wilton Govan; as well as her great-nieces, Chelsea Fields and Luna Paulino.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on April 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 10960 Martin Luther King Blvd, Houston, TX 77048, with Deacon Ronald Simon to officiate.
