Born June 8, 1953 in Pekin, she was a daughter of Robert Wayne and Evelyn Doris (Reh) Dillon. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by one sister, Michele Antenore.
Angelique is survived by one son, Alex Layne and his fianceé Lauren Grant of Los Angeles, California.
Angelique was a Special Education teacher for Aurora Public Schools for over 35 years. She dedicated her life to teaching those who needed it the most. While she retired in 2019, she continued to help those in the community and her fellow teachers when her health allowed it. Angelique’s second passion was dogs.
A private funeral will be held in Pekin. Pastor Judy Steger Kennedy will officiate. No visitation is planned. Burial will follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
