Ashley Suzanne Dickens

Born on December 3, 1945 in Peoria to Michael Keith and Elizabeth Fredricka (Barfoot) Riley, she married Charles C. Dickens on December 22, 1972 in Ocala, Florida. He died on January 16, 2017.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved pets, Genevieve and Chrissy.

Ashley worked as a secretary for a police department in Florida for many years.

She was a very talented artist and loved to draw and paint. Ashley always looked forward to attending holiday parties and dinners.

Ashley was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.

Her memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will follow the memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
