Betty A Bonnette

Born February 7, 1930 in Frankfort, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jesse and Martha (Sheets) Robbins. She married Harold H. Bonnette on October 14, 1946 in Lafayette, Indiana. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Danny (Cynthia) Bonnette of Pekin; three daughters, Brenda (Don) Cross of Green Valley, and Carolyn Zorn and Tammie (Eric) Judd, both of Pekin; son-in-law, Robert Hogue, Sr. of Naperville; twenty grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack (Martha) Robbins of Lafayette, Indiana and Junior (Teri) Robbins of Beech Grove, Indiana; and one sister, Sharon (John) Niemanstverdrict of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Betty Hogue on February 28, 2012; one infant son, Terry Lee Bonnette; one infant step-son, James Bonnette, and one sister, Patsy Cochran.

Betty had worked in the kitchen at Wilson School in Pekin for 11 years.

She was a former member of Grace Baptist Church in Pekin.

Betty cherished the time spent with her family. She enjoyed collecting different items including music boxes.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Matthew Bonnette, her grandson, will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
