Born September 12, 1947 in Lemont to Earl and Alice (Eipers) Edburg, she married James Wilson. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Tammy (David) Schenk of Joliet, Dawn (Ted) Morris and Jamie Carrick, both of Pekin; two sons, James (Sherry) Swanson of Chillicothe and Michael Swanson of Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters and her beloved dog, Kujo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Crystal Wilson and one brother.
Betty had worked Timbercreek Rehab and Healthcare in Pekin as a CNA for many years.
She enjoyed collecting cow figurines and teddy bears. She loved being a grandmother and spending time and joking with her family.
Her graveside service will be at noon on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Pastor John Vaughn will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
