Beverly Jean Gray

She was born December 16, 1938 in Pekin, Illinois; the daughter of Louis Robert and Virginia Viola (Bassett) Eertmoed Sr.. She married Duane A. Gray on August 9, 1959 in Pekin.

Surviving are three daughters, Lori Jean (Kenneth) Dewitt of Lindenhurst, Illinois, Ronda Jane (Michael) Brown of Decatur, Illinois, and Carla Lynn (David) Grandia of Pekin, Illinois.

Five Grandchildren also survive, Stephanie Ann Sea of Philidelphia, Pa, Emily Ann Dewitt of Lindenhurst, Illinois and Hannah Marie Dewitt of Rexburg, Idaho, Eric Matthew (Yara) Dewitt of Lindenhurst, Illinois , Stephen David Mitchell of Decatur, Illinois

One great granddaughter also survives, Andrea Jane Dewitt of Lindenhurst, Illinois.

She is also survived by three brothers, Lloyd E. Eertmoed, Louis R. (Dianna) Eertmoed, and Larry D. Ertmoed, all of Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was the former Co-owner of the National Rental in Pekin, and was a Clerk for Tazewell County retiring in 2007.

She was a member of the Second Reformed Church of Pekin and was a past Deaconess and Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of the Pekin Hospital League and was the gift buyer for many years, and a member of the Dirksen Guild.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. The Rev. Bradley VanderWaal will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Memorials may be made to the Second Reformed Church of Pekin.
