He was born August 25, 1959 in Peoria to Bobby Gene and Karen Irene (Stear) Rieck. His parents preceded him in death as well as one brother, Howard Rieck.
Surviving are two sons, Zach Rieck of Peoria and Billy Joe Rieck, Jr.; two grandsons, Greyson and Preston Rieck; one sister, Diane (Henry) Pichon and two brothers, John Rieck and Tommy Patterson.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a meat cutter at Raber’s Packing Company and Pottstown Meat & Deli, both in Peoria.
Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Kansas Jay Hawks, Los Angeles Chargers and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan.
There are no scheduled services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
