Bonnie Mae Durbin

Born September 12, 1932 in Shumway to Glen and Bessie (Dial) Kyle, she married Paul Roland Durbin on August 22, 1952 in Pekin. He died February 15, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Rhonda Durbin; three sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are two sons, William “Bill” (Karen) Durbin of Hopedale and Paul Durbin of Yukon, Oklahoma; one daughter, Gayle (Carolyn) Durbin of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene Lewis of Texas and three brothers, Lloyd Kyle of Shelbyville, Bill (Diane) Kyle of Litchfield and Joseph (Kathy) Kyle of Veedersburg, Indiana.

A homemaker, Bonnie was also the receptionist and bookkeeper for the family business, D & J Tree Service.

Bonnie enjoyed working in her yard and thoroughly enjoyed taking care of kids, especially her family.

Her private graveside will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
