Brad Anthony Colvin

Born on July 6, 1958 in Peoria, he was a son of Ivan Clifford and Lila Ann (Peterson) Colvin.

Surviving are his mother, Lila Wilkey of East Peoria; one daughter, Alyssa Hobson of Baltimore, Maryland; one brother, Vince (Pam) Colvin of Washington; one half-brother, Greg (Debbie) Bessler of Morton and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his companion of 11 years, Darlene Whiteman of East Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Tara Colvin and one sister, Tamara Colvin.

Brad retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 1 in Morton, having last worked for Standard Sheet Metal Works in Peoria.

Throughout his life, Brad enjoyed riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed playing billiards and was fond of his dog, King.

His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Christ Bible Church in Creve Coeur. Pastor Tom Pisano will officiate. A time of fellowship and a luncheon will be held following the service at the church. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
