Charles "Charlie" K Moses

Born June 21, 1945 in Pekin to Charles Kenneth “Bud” and Betty Jane (Crawford) Moses, he married Darla Kay Koepp on December 19, 1991 in Pekin. She survives.

Also are surviving are his mother, Betty Moses of Pekin; four step-sons, Kenneth McGinnis and Matthew McGinnis, both of Browning, Lucas (Racheal) McGinnis of Rushville, and Jeff McGinnis of Pekin; and nine step-grandchildren.

Charlie worked out of Laborers Local #231 in Pekin for many years, last working for Louie Atherton Construction in Spring Bay. He was a part-time groundskeeper for Pekin Park District at Parkview Golf Course in Pekin.

An avid sportsman, Charlie enjoyed fishing, golfing, and hunting. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.

His visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Private graveside services will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, IL 61554.
