Charles L Hutchison

He was born on July 6, 1960 in West Plains, Missouri to LeRoy Lavern and Dorothy Mae (Standley) Hutchison.

Surviving are his mother; one son, Charles Lee “Charlie” (Sara) Hutchison, Jr. of Pekin; two daughters, Sonni N. (Kevin) Morrow and Amy R. Johnson, both of Pekin; four step-children, Terra Gumm, Corey Gumm, Josh Gumm and Brittany Weathers; seven grandchildren; one brother, John and two sisters, Loretta and Carol.

His father preceded him in death.

Chuck was a member of Steamfitters Local 353 in Peoria since October of 1998, mostly working for Illinois Piping Corp.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed collecting and trading. He also liked to frequent Butler’s Tavern in Mapleton.

A memorial visitation celebrating his life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Private inurnment will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
