She was born January 29, 1934 in Barrern County, Kentucky to John and Gladys (Greer) Bybee. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by one sister and one nephew.
Surviving are three nieces, Paula (Randy) Shearer, Kay Miars and Penny (Jim) Stapleton; one nephew, J. Michael (Cindy) Miars and one sister, Margaret Curtis.
Charlotte was a longtime participant in programming at the Tazewell County Resource Centers located in the Field Shopping Center in Morton.
Her funeral will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Private burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
