

She was born February 14, 1926 in Havana to Lloyd and Anna (Scheuring) Kreiling. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marianne Kreiling; and one brother, Kenneth Kreiling.
Surviving are her children, Robert (Debra) of Pekin, Randall (Lawana) of Denver, CO, David (Dianne) of Bloomington, and Debra Shaw of Peoria. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Pat Kreiling of Sun Lakes, AZ.
Clarice worked at Herget Bank in Pekin and was a beauty operator for several years during her early working life before becoming a housewife and mother. She later worked at the Pekin Public Schools District #108 central kitchen and in the Dean’s office at Pekin Community High School for 14 years retiring in 1991.
Clarice loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family and friends.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin where she had served as a Sunday school teacher and vacation bible school teacher. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin. The Rev. Dr. Rodger Abatie will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 700 South 4th Street, Pekin 61554 or Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Peoria Memorial Affiliate, 4700 North University Street, Suite 92, Peoria, IL 61614.
