

He was born June 3, 1997 in Pekin to Mark and Roxanne (Fisher) Rigdon.
He leaves behind a loving family, his mother and step-father, Roxanne and Robert Berchtold; his father, Mark Rigdon; one brother, Cole Rigdon; one nephew, Reece Rigdon; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Addie Fisher; five aunts, Christy Fisher, Kimberly Garrard, Gina Moses, Kathy Rigdon and Cathy Rigdon and three uncles, Samuel Moses, Michael Rigdon and Tod Rigdon.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Nancy Rigdon and one uncle, Paul Rigdon.
Clay grew up in a loving family and developed a passion for music and a deep love for animals.
His love for animals was profound and he shared a special bond with his beloved pet, Cooper, who will dearly miss him. Clay also enjoyed various hobbies, including video gaming and engaging in outdoor activities, like riding BMX and scootering.
Clay was a gifted musician, proficient in playing the guitar, bass and drums. He excelled in composing music, especially on the computer, where his production skills shone brightly. Beyond his musical talents, Clay was known for his generosity and kindness. He often surprised friends and family with thoughtful gifts, simply to share the joy of giving.
He was a member of Rock Church in East Peoria, where he was saved.
A gathering remembering and celebrating Clay’s life and spirit will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1232, 15665 VFW Road in Pekin. His legacy of kindness and creativity will endure in the hearts of his loved ones.
