Born November 4, 1943 in El Paso to Roscoe Barnard and Emily Amy (Hagland) Hall, he married Linda Porter. They later divorced. He then married Donna Jean Pearson on April 20, 1974. She died May 5, 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tammy Pensinger and seven siblings.
Surviving are two daughters, Janet K. (Dale) Selburg of Pekin and Diane R. (Bert) Pliett of Fort Wayne, Indiana; five sons, Mark A. (Lory) Hall of Groveland, Richard L. Pearson of Wabash, Indiana, Don L. (Shannon) Hall of Pekin, Dennis W. (Alisa) Hall of Manito and Bryan D. (Jamie) Hall of Niles, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.
Danny had worked many years as a heavy equipment operator in Indiana.
A tinkerer, Danny was always on the lookout for a good deal. He enjoyed fishing, reading, watching science fiction movies and finding a good cup of coffee. He also enjoyed spending time with family at gatherings.
Danny was a former member of Eberhard Lutheran Church in Columbia City, Indiana, where he had served on the board.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Carolyn Roper-Fowlkes will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana Friday at 3 p.m.
