

Born April 5, 1955 in Peoria to Maurice and Erma (Blair) Floyd, he married Nina Clark January 22, 2022 in Washington. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Andrew Floyd of California; two daughters, Trisha (Randy Bumbalough) Floyd of Marquette Heights and Tiffany (Brandan) Weller of East Peoria; one step-son, Dustin Alexander of Washington; two step-daughters, Charlene (Jason) Rench of Washington and Monica (Mitch) Neff of Hanna City; ten grandchildren, Zoe Weller, Sabel Floyd, Trayton Weller, Raeann Kramer-Ayers, Andre Floyd, Mckenna Dixon, Roman Dixon, Michael Alexander, Marley Alexander, Domino Alexander; and five siblings, Maurice Floyd of Tennessee, Randal Floyd of Washington, Debbie (Robert) Maybry of Arkansas, Armetha (Al) Betourne of East Peoria and Willis (Mary) Floyd of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David owned and operated Auto Solutions Services in East Peoria, retiring in 2019.
He enjoyed working on cars, watching baseball and old westerns, and having bonfires. He was a Chicago Cubs fan. He cherished spending time with his family.
His memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory, Creve Coeur. There will be no services.
