
GREEN VALLEY ~ David Lloyd "Bucko" Hutton, 58, 110 E. Main St., passed away at 3:02 p.m., Thursday, Feb.3, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Nov.17, 1952 in Pekin to Lawrence "Pete" and Doris (Rusk) Hutton, he married Melba Jamerson Manns on Sept.2, 1989 in Stillville, Mo..
Surviving are his wife, 1 daughter, Paige Flynn of Pekin; 1 step-daughter, Debra Schadt of Green Valley;1 step-son, Harold (Jennifer) Manns, Jr.of Gridley; 2 grandchildren, Kyle and Hayley Flynn; 11 step-grandchildren,Sabrina, Jessica and Rebecca Taylor, Annabelle Schadt, Alexie, Brittany, Matthew, Conner, Justin, Jordan and Jessica Manns; 1 step-great grandson, Kaiden; 3 sisters, Marlena (Cary) Woll of Pekin, Karen (Scott) Everhart of Aurora, and Roseane Hutton of Springfield; 12 nieces and nephews; and 17 grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, David and Daisy Rusk and Lloyd and Cora Hutton. David was named after his grandfathers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Alan Hutton in 2007.
Bucko worked for R.L. Lewis Industries in Pekin for 30 years, last working as a foreman before being laid off in 2009.
He attended the Green Valley United Methodist Church and was a life long resident of Green Valley..
David enjoyed volunteering and socializing at the Roy L. King VFW Post #1232 in Pekin, where he was active in the men’s auxiliary.
He enjoyed fishing, throwing horseshoes, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the VFW Post, 15665 VFW Rd., Pekin 61554. Food and his favorite country music will be a part of the memorial service which the Pekin VFW Men’s auxiliary is supporting. David's friends are invited to visit with his family at this time.
