

Born December 3, 1932 in Paragould, Arkansas to James Neallea and Myrtle Nora (Nunly) Reeves, she married Lee B. Patrick on September 9, 1950 in Augusta, Arkansas. He died October 17, 2003 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by one son, Carl Wayne Patrick on December 15, 2012; six brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy (Gary) Voyles of Maricopa, Arizona and Nora (Dale) Kupferschmid of Chandler, Arizona; one son, Johnny Lee Patrick of Pekin; six grandchildren, James Lovett of Mesa, Arizona, Jessica Allen of Ahwatukee, Arizona, Josh Kupferschmid of Seattle, Washington, Kevin Patrick of Pekin, Kelly (Rebecca) Patrick of Grand Tower and Zane Patrick of Granite City and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pekin Garden Club. She also was a longtime election judge in Tazewell County. Delphia grew up in Arkansas and was proud to have been selected as Miss Augusta.
She loved sitting on her porch swing, traveling, reading books, going to church and spending time with her family.
She was a devoted member of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Roger Hamilton will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and also 30 minutes before the funeral, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.
