Denise was born January 14, 1957 in Casa Grande, AZ to Norman and Frances (Strickland) Johnston. Her mother of West Richland, WA survives. Also surviving are one son; Doyle (Tiffany) Adams of Morton; one daughter, D.J. Adams of Bellvue; five grandchildren; one brother, Jim (Gail) Johnston of Pasco, WA and one sister, Judy (Darrell) Creamer of West Richland, WA.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Denise had worked as a truck driver for Domino Transport, Inc. in Normal for the last five years, last working in July.
She loved being on the open road, driving her truck. She also enjoyed fishing and hiking.
There will be no services or visitation. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin has been entrusted with arrangements.
