Donna J Austin

Born July 21, 1934 in Pekin to George and Louise (Stark) Bishop, she married Arnold Edward Austin on March 19, 1965 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Christie L. (Bob) Counterman of Marquette Heights, Lori A. Austin and Lisa M. (Dr. Brendon) Johnson, both of Pekin; two grandsons, Daniel J. Counterman and Joshua M. Counterman, both of Marquette Heights; one brother, George Bishop, Jr. of Gladewater, Texas and two sisters, Helen Piscaglia of Bartonville and Dorothy (Robert) Talbott of Manito.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant daughter, Kathy Austin.

A homemaker, Donna devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of Parkway Christian Church in Pekin.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2009at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Andrew Ramey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
