

Born on July 25, 1942 in Pekin to Lewis D. and Alberta R. (Gomes) Ivey, she married James Micheal "Jim" Corso on June 22, 1976 in Pekin. He died on January 8, 2021 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Gene "Tom" Ivey.
Surviving are one daughter, Jill (Mike) Oberle of Morton; her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Ivey of Pekin and Christine Ivey of Malden, Missouri; three bonus grandchildren, Elise Oberle of Pekin, Natalee (Bryant Whitesel) Runyan of Denver, Colorado and Emily Oberle of Pekin; two nephews, Shaun (Melissa) Ivey of Pekin and John Ivey of Friendswood, Texas; one great-nephew, Trey Ivey of Pekin and two great-nieces, Blair (Noah Stevens) Ivey of South Pekin and Hailey Ivey of Friendswood.
Donna dedicated 36 years of her career to working as a cashier at Kroger, beginning in East Peoria and later in Pekin, before retiring in 2004. She was a beloved member of her community and cherished by her family and friends.
In her personal life, Donna had a passion for watching her nephew, Trey, play hockey and supporting her niece, Blair, during cheerleading events. She found joy in reading, sewing, and spending time with her loved ones over lunch. Shopping and having coffee with her daughter were among her favorite pastimes.
Donna was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin. She contributed her talents by singing in the choir and playing bells with the bell choir at the church.
Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin. Pastor Daniel J. Bishop will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral at the church. Burial will follow in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
