PEKIN ~ Donna Jean Thompson, 60, of Pekin, passed away at 12:47 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born December 18, 1952 in Peoria to Oscar and Betty Johnson, she married Gerald Thompson on March 28, 1975 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Megan Thompson of St. Charles, Missouri; four brothers, Kenny (Michelle) Johnson, John (Elaine) Johnson, Oscar (Joyce) Johnson, Jr. and Jerry Lee (Kay) Johnson; and two sisters, Betty Poirier and Shirley Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna had worked as an assistant to the general manager at WHOI television station in Creve Coeur for 18 years.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation or services. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
