

Born August 7, 1923 in Minier to Adolph R. and Margaret E. (Graff) Krueger, she married Dr. Arnold Hardin Claycomb. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one grandson, Shawn Robertson, and one sister, Ruth Nugen.
Surviving are one son, Chris Robertson; one daughter, Marsha (Paul) Dubicki; six grandchildren, Amber Robertson, Casey Robertson, Lisa White, Paul J. Dubicki, Brian Dubicki, and Mary Yoo; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois DeFrates of Pekin.
Eleanor had worked for Nielsen Media Research as a supervisor in the filing department. Previously, she had worked at the Tazewell County Courthouse and as a receptionist for Dr. Claycomb in Pekin.
She was an active volunteer with the Salvation Army in Venice, Florida for many years.
Eleanor was an avid reader and enjoyed doing word searches. She will be remembered for her selflessness and willingness to help others.
Private services will be held and entombment will be at Lakeside Mausoleum in Pekin.
