Born September 8, 1934 in East Prairie, Missouri to Harry and Marinda (Douglas) Greer, she married Elmer Otis Flick on September 15, 1951 in Arkansas. He died May 20, 1994 in Havana. She also was preceded in death by one son, Gary Wayne Flick; one grandson, Curtis Flick and two brothers, Carroll Greer and Thomas Greer.
Surviving are three sons, Ray Flick of Rocheport, Missouri, Jerry Flick and David Flick, both of Pekin; two daughters, Linda (Ralph) Tippett and Marla (Rodney) Smith, both of South Pekin; 22 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Clifford (Sue) Greer of East Peoria. She also leaves her longtime companion, Truman Zuck of Pekin.
Faye enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid quilter and crafter. She also enjoyed doing word searches, gardening and teaching her grandchildren how to cook. She loved adventures, traveling and fishing. She worked as a CNA in Pekin and at Leisure Hills, which is now known as Timbercreek.
Her visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Missouri, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Pastor Joe Briseno will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie, Missouri.
