Floyd R. Jordan, Sr., age 63, of Pekin passed away at 5:05 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on December 12, 1949, in Peoria, Illinois to Hugh and Virginia (Mason) Jordan. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Jamie Baugh and Sandra Jordan; three sisters; two brothers; and his wife, Rebekah Jordan. Floyd is survived by his life partner, Marla Jordan; three sons, Floyd (Meggan) Jordan Jr., Jeremy (Tasha) Jordan and Hugh (Jessica) Jordan; one daughter, Monica (Mike) Wotton; and one stepdaughter, Lisa (Terry) Kapp, all of Pekin. He is also survived by one sister, Sandra (Ronald) Cusack of Edwards, Illinois; one brother, Tommy Mason of Seattle, Washington; and several grandchildren. Floyd was a semi truck driver for most of his life. Dirt racing was Floyd's only hobby and he also enjoyed fishing.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin, with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating.
