

Born December 12, 1940 in Tennessee to William and Daffo (Scott) Hamlet, she first married Norman Hiatt on August 31, 1957 he passed away on April 10, 1977. She then married Clinton Donaldson on September 6, 1978, he passed away on September 26, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Norma Huddleston and Frances Annette Hiatt; one granddaughter, Angela and three brothers, Floyd, George and James Hamlet.
Surviving are three sons, Lonnie (Jean) Hiatt of Pekin, Herbert L. (Miryam) Hiatt of Westfield, Indiana and Rodney Hiatt of Peoria; one daughter, Karen (Jerry) Robinson of Germantown Hills; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Wilma Lennox of Forrest City, Mary Phillips of Manito and Joyce (Galen) Campen of East Peoria; one brother, Raymond Hamlet of South Pekin; two beloved dogs Lassie and Missy and birds Ponch and Picco.
She adored her grandchildren, family and animals. She enjoyed gardening, her koi pond, dancing, and playing cards. She loved watching the T.V. show Dr. Pol and cooking her famous fried chicken for her family on Friday nights.
Her visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday July 2, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory Pekin. Graveside services will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria officiated by Pastor John Plunkett.
