Frances E Martin

Born March 16, 1936  in Pontotoc, MS to Ellic and Agie (Holloway) Murphy, she married Eric R. Martin, Jr on August 10, 1956 in Pekin.  He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Thomas (Julie) Martin and Kevin (Tracy) Martin, both of Pekin; five grandchildren, Michelle (Shawn) Siegel of Pekin, Tyler Martin of Milwaukee, WI, Justin Martin of Pekin, Colton Ginn of Morton, Beau Ginn of Washington; one great-grandchild and one brother, John (Juanita) Murphy of Bloomington.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed country music, baking and cooking, particularly preparing large family meals.

Frances was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Pekin.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Timothy Collard and Mr. Kenneth Seest will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
