

Born November 20, 1935 in Memphis, TN to Charles Murray and Rutha Genevieve (Thompson) Graham, he married Patricia Van Houten on June 18, 1956 in Palmyra, MO. She died January 3, 2013 in Peoria. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Graham and James Graham.
Surviving are two sons, Jim (Kathryn) Graham of Morton and Gary (Janet) Graham, Jr. of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Morgan and Brett and one brother, John Graham of Memphis, TN.
Gary had proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Gary worked for AT&T as an electrical mechanic for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed working construction and loved to working on and restoring cars.
He was a member of Eastside Bible Church in Morton. He was a former member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Gary enjoyed singing in the church choir and had also sung in a barber shop quartet.
Gary will be remembered for his love for his family and that he was very devoted in his faith.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria, with military rites accorded by the Military Funeral Honors Team and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
