Georgina Sue Dickson

She was born March 18, 1952 in Decatur to Richard Lionel and Frances Elaine (Ahlheim) Dickson. Her parents and one brother, Richard Dickson, preceded her in death.

Surviving are two siblings, Michael L. (Linda) Dickson of Pekin and Cristina (Jackie) Campbell of Urbana; four nephews, Sean (Brooke) Dickson, Travis Dickson, Joseph Dickson and Jayden Campbell; one niece, Cierra Dickson; two great-nephews, Michael Dickson and Justin Dickson; one great-niece, Emma Wilk and one great-grandniece, Skylynn Dickson.

Gina worked as a type setter at Colwell Patterson, retiring in 2016. She previously earned her Bachelor of Education and owned her own preschool, Kiddie Kampus Preschool. She graduated from Pekin Community High School in 1970.

She was a member of Vineyard Church of Central Illinois in Urbana and enjoyed being involved in church events.

Gina enjoyed camping, reading, and spending time with her friends.

A celebration of Georgina’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
